I am an alumnus of the UW School Psychology program after being trained at both the Specialist and the Doctoral level. I am driven by the goal of helping people build their life worth living by building skills that allow them to find harmony between professional, social, and emotional success. I teach throughout the specialist level program including the first-year introductory course, second-year practicum, socio-emotional assessment, and the precertification internship series. In addition to my work supporting the School Psychology Program, I also teach a series of courses in the College of Education undergraduate program that is focused on teaching skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and positive psychology to help undergraduates manage emotion and stress productively and effectively. Outside of UW, I am a trainer-in-training for DBT in Schools providing trainings around the country on the DBT STEPS-A curriculum.
