Lynn Dietrich
Lynn Dietrich, PhD, is a Teaching Professor and Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Programs. She joined the college in 2015 after working in the field of early learning as a university faculty member, accreditation consultant, program evaluator, trainer, project director, presenter, and curricula author. In addition to committee work within the college, Lynn has been an active member of the University of Washington community, chairing the University Committee on Curriculum Administration, and the Faculty Council on Teaching and Learning (FCTL), co-chairing the Provost's Working Group on Defining Instructional Quality, and serving on the Faculty Council for Academic Standards (FCAS).
At the University of Mississippi, Lynn contributed to the development of the undergraduate endorsement and M.Ed. programs in early childhood education, and she served as the Director of the Early Childhood Institute at Mississippi State University. She began her career in early childhood education as a preschool teacher at the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, located in the National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.
