The Master's in Education Policy (MEP) degree is a full-time, one-year, cohort-based program that connects students with the diverse field of education policy and prepares them to lead the next generation of education reform.
When it comes to directing change in education, successful policy leaders need both knowledge and experience. During this intensive, 12-month master's degree program at the University of Washington, we help prepare you for critical policy roles by combining a structured curriculum with the hands-on experience of a 150-hour internship.
With courses taught by top-ranked faculty in the fields of education policy design, implementation, and evaluation, the Master's in Education Policy allows you to interact with policy professionals working in governmental agencies, school districts, and nonprofit, advocacy, and philanthropic organizations at the state, local, and national levels.
