Academic Background & Research Interests

I’m interested in nature-centered play and learning in early childhood, especially issues of equity and justice in nature pedagogies.  I’m fascinated by the importance of supporting young children’s relationship-building in and with nature, and I’m focusing on learning about nature-centered learning as a space for anti-bias education and education for environmental justice.
