Position Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

Autism Improvement Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and collaborative BCBA or BCaBA to join our growing team and provide high-quality, in-home ABA services to children and their families throughout Whatcom County.

Position Details

  • Position: Part-Time (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
  • Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and licensure.
  • Location: Whatcom County, Washington (Blaine, Bellingham, Lynden, Sumas, and surrounding areas)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct behavioral and skills assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized ABA treatment plans.
  • Supervise and support Behavior Technicians.
  • Review client progress and modify treatment plans based on data.
  • Provide parent and caregiver training.
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide high-quality, family-centered care.
  • Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, Washington State regulations, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA or BCaBA certification.
  • Current Washington State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA), or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within Whatcom County.

Schedule

  • Approximately 20–25 hours per week.
  • Most client supervision and family meetings occur between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Availability during these afternoon and early evening hours is essential.
