Position Description
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
Autism Improvement Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and collaborative BCBA or BCaBA to join our growing team and provide high-quality, in-home ABA services to children and their families throughout Whatcom County.

Position Details
- Position: Part-Time (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
- Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and licensure.
- Location: Whatcom County, Washington (Blaine, Bellingham, Lynden, Sumas, and surrounding areas)
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral and skills assessments.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized ABA treatment plans.
- Supervise and support Behavior Technicians.
- Review client progress and modify treatment plans based on data.
- Provide parent and caregiver training.
- Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide high-quality, family-centered care.
- Maintain compliance with BACB Ethics Code, Washington State regulations, and payer requirements.
Qualifications
- Current BCBA or BCaBA certification.
- Current Washington State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA), or eligibility to obtain licensure before employment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within Whatcom County.
Schedule
- Approximately 20–25 hours per week.
- Most client supervision and family meetings occur between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Availability during these afternoon and early evening hours is essential.
