Position Description

Are you passionate about empowering student leaders and building inclusive communities in tech? The Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering (Allen School) on the UW - Seattle Campus is hiring a temporary Senior Student Leadership Development Specialist to oversee our Allen School Affiliated Student Organizations!

This role is under the Student Engagement & Access Team. The mission of the Student Engagement & Access Team is to attract and support the next generation of outstanding computer scientists and computer engineers who reflect the population of Washington state and the varying needs, backgrounds, and experiences of technology users around the world. We do this through K-12 outreach and recruitment efforts aimed at broadening participation in computing and undergraduate retention efforts aimed at ensuring that students of all backgrounds feel like they can belong and thrive in the Allen School.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with student leaders and supporting their leadership growth & development, who is passionate about creating and upholding equitable policies that support our student organizations, and who enjoys collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

This is a temporary position until June 30, 2026 (with possibility of extension). The salary range for this position is $73,800 - $75,648 annually.
