To provide assistance to graduate students in the College of Education who use the disciplines of history and philosophy to address issues of equity and social justice in education and has potential for contributions to knowledge and understanding of equity and social justice in education and the moral and ethical dimensions of educational leadership. Preferences goes to students specializing in social and cultural foundations of education.
To provide financial assistance to meritorious students, with financial need, who aspire to teach in Washington State public schools.

To support qualified underrepresented minorities with financial need who are entering TEP or starting their Special Education Initial Certification. Special consideration will be given for first generation students.
Scholarships for highly motivated students who are pursuing degrees in the College of Education preparatory to a career in teaching.
For students enrolled in the Teacher Preparation Program in the College of Education at the University, with preference given to those demonstrating an uncommon passion for the teaching profession as evidenced by a history of working/volunteering with young people.
