Beginning the Program
You may only start the program at the beginning of each school year. Our classes are sequential and are usually only offered once per program sequence so students must begin coursework Fall quarter. Additionally, our program is designed to foster supportive cohorts of students and we have found that this is best achieved by students starting and ending the program together.
Program Cost
For the 2022-2023 school year, the cost of the program is $589/credit. Tuition rates are set in the spring, but we are expecting that costs will be close to this for the 2023-2024 school year.
Diversity Scholarships
The University of Washington ABA Program values diversity and equity both within our program and within the broader field of Applied Behavior Analysis. To demonstrate our commitment to this value, we provide scholarship opportunities to incoming graduate students focused on increasing diversity. Scholarship preference is given to students from underrepresented racial/ethnic communities. Selection is based on both admissions materials and a personal written essay. We will have two awards of up to $8,000 each. Students will be invited to apply for these scholarships after they have been admitted to the program.
Other Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Washington Online ABA Program offers general scholarships based on academic merit and financial need. We will have three or more awards of up to $8,000 each. All students will be invited to apply for these scholarships after they have been admitted to the program.
We also offer several scholarships to help student fund their UW Supervised Fieldwork.
The University of Washington College of Education also offers some scholarships to College of Education students; find information about them here.
Financial Aid
Federal financial aid is available for students enrolled as Master’s Degree candidates who need assistance with tuition and fees.
