The Research and Inquiry Presentation is a major milestone in a Ph.D. candidate's studies at the College of Education.

The purposes of R&I presentations are to:

  • Immerse students in issues of content and method directly pertinent to your chosen specialization.
  • Provide students with practical experience in the use of methods and the application of content learned in coursework.
  • Convey aspects of substance and method that characterize the topic studied, but are not taught in general method or content courses.
  • Afford an opportunity for students to present research to a professional audience and for the audience to learn about the research.

The College of Education community and outside scholars are welcome to attend.
