The Safe Zone is designed to reduce prejudice and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression at the University of Washington campus and create a safe and affirming campus. Through education the Safe Zone training provides students, faculty and staff with skills to become allies for GLBTQTI(Q) students and colleagues.
