James A. Banks, Kerry and Linda Killinger Endowed Chair in Diversity Studies and founding director of the UW Center for Multicultural Education, will discuss his work and career in a conversation with Professor Joy Williamson-Lott, UW College of Education. Banks will sign copies of the newly-released sixth edition of his seminal text "An Introduction to Multicultural Education," which helps busy pre-service and practicing educators increase their understanding of what multicultural education means for the increasingly diverse classrooms in the United States today.
