The College of Education Graduate Student training program is designed to help graduate students succeed in their role as Instructors, TAs or Reader/Graders in the ECFS onsite, ECFS online, and ECO majors.

This session should complement the Center for Teaching and Learning Orientation and previous experiences by introducing them to the principles and practices of effective teaching within the majors. The sessions emphasize practical teaching skills and strategies and include topics such as establishing a positive classroom atmosphere on the first day, leading effective discussions, classroom technology, grading efficiently, and academic integrity guidelines among other topics.

Individuals who are employed by ECFS and ECO are required to attend and those who seek employment are encouraged to attend.
