Coffee Tuesdays

Each week, OSDI hosts current CoE students for coffee, snacks, and intellectual discussions around a weekly theme. This legacy program was designed as a community building space for students of color, international students, first generation students, students with disabilities, and other students historically marginalized from higher education. Let's support each other and connect!

DO-IT Center Disabilities and Inclusion Workshop

In colalboration with the DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology) Center, OSDI will be hosting a facilitated workshop on students with disabilities and the topic of inclusion in education and the workplace.

Cultural Showcase & Taste of Culture

Tuesday, May 1 | 11:30 AM-1:00 PM | Miller 104

Cultural showcase is an opportunity for international and domestic students to show and teach our friends and colleagues at the College of Education about their cultural backgrounds, traditions, and awareness of their own countries. In collaboration with IECE, we will also be hosting a potluck and a "Taste of Culture" to display and share the variety of ethnic foods from our diverse student backgrounds. Join us in an afternoon filled with food, traditions, legends, and artistic expressions!

Global Education Workshop

Wednesday, May 16 | 7-8:30 PM | Miller 112

This workshop provides a facilitated presentation and dialogue with amazing and brilliant College of Education students in learning about the K-12 Education System around the world. Join us for an overview of how schools in different countries operate, policies they adhere to, curriculum they provide, and other important information that will help students understand education in a global context.

OSDI Graduation

Friday, June 1 | 6:00-9:00 PM | HUB 145

Join OSDI for an eventful evening as we acknowledge our hard working students! Celebrate the end of the year with us as we recognize our students who are graduating with degrees and who are completing major academic milestones, while also honoring our outstanding student leaders and amazing OSDI student, staff, and faculty supporters. Members of the graduating class of 2018 will receive a congratulatory gift from OSDI. Food and drinks will be prodided. Family and friends are welcome! ***Students do not have to be graduating to attend***
