R&I presentations are an excellent opportunity for our current Ph.D. students to present research to a professional audience and for the audience to learn about their research. We encourage you to attend and join the questions and discussion following the presentations.

The purposes of R&I presentations:

  •     Immerse students in issues of content and method directly pertinent to your chosen specialization.
  •     Provide students with practical experience in the use of methods and the application of content learned in coursework.
  •     Convey aspects of substance and method that characterize the topic studied, but are not taught in general method or content courses.
  •     Afford an opportunity for students  to present research to a professional audience and for the audience to learn about the research.
