The College of Education celebrated its newest cohort of teachers and educational leaders during graduation ceremonies held June 16 outside of Miller Hall. More than 300 members of the Class of 2014 participated in ceremonies and heard from student speaker Maurice Dolberry, an Ed.D student specializing in multicultural education, and alumnus speaker Dr. Ed Taylor, vice provost and dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs.  Watch their remarks below.

The award honors an individual or organization whose extraordinary contributions have advanced the College of Education’s central mission: To make equitable and excellent education a daily reality for every child in every community. Boeing was presented with the award at the College's commencement ceremony on June 16.

James Banks to Receive Fielding Social Justice Award
