Frequently Asked Post-Graduation Questions

When will I see my grades and my degree posted on my transcripts?

Spring quarter grades were posted to transcripts during the week following the end of Spring quarter. If you did not receive a final grade in a course, please contact that instructor for more information. If you received an incomplete in a course (a grade of "I"), make sure you contact the instructor so that you understand what is expected of you prior to receiving a final grade.

Degrees should be posted to transcripts before the end of June. If you have any questions about this contact our office and we will work with you to understand the circumstances.

When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are mailed to the address you have on record in MyUW approximately 8-12 weeks following the end of the quarter you receive(d) your degree. Additional information about diplomas and degree verification is available on the UW Registrar's website

If I was in a program that led to certification, when will I receive information about certification?

After verifying that you have successfully completed your certificate program you will be recommended to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction for your official certificate. Michael Nielsen, our Certification Officer, will contact you when that has happened so you can then log into your E-Cert account to complete the certificate application. It can take 3-4 weeks from the time you submit your application for the certificate to be issued. Feel free to contact Michael directly if you have any questions.
