We partner with schools and communities to tackle the most pressing educational challenges facing our region--from new interventions in early learning to next-generation practices in STEM education. In partnership with community, we co-design locally-responsive solutions which serve as regional and national templates for success.

ANN ISHIMARU, a faculty leader of Unite:Ed, is deeply concerned about how to ensure universities and faculty members partner with instead of work on communities in our region.
During Ideathon, teams of UW undergraduates had 24 hours to develop and present their ideas to better serve the needs of immigrant and refugee students and communities.
