Position Description:
This is a great line of work for those who love kids, have a heart for individuals with special needs, and may be seeking a future career in the areas of Speech and Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Special Education, Counseling, and related fields.
Work as a certified behavior technician for a child who has an Autism Spectrum Disorder providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. You would work on addressing language deficits, promoting play and social interaction, and developing skills in the areas of cognition, fine/gross motor, and adaptive functioning. You would receive training and ongoing supervision to support the successful implementation of the child's ABA program.
We are looking for individuals who are:
EDUCATION:
Currently enrolled in or have completed an education program in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous ABA experience is not required though beneficial. Similarly, experience working with children and/or individuals with special needs is helpful.
