View Full Description and Application: https://cityyear.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/CityYear/job/Seattle-WA/Program-Director_R6509-2 We seek a Program Director (PD) who will oversee the implementation of our service model in 4-6 schools in South Seattle in a critical phase of City Year Seattle / King County’s growth. The Program Director must be an effective manager and talent developer who can coach staff members so they in turn can enable ACMs to have a rewarding, high-impact, and successful year of service. As a strong relationship manager, the PD must inspire and grow partnerships at schools, in the community, and with the district to ensure the right conditions and resources are in place for AmeriCorps members to deliver attendance, behavior, and course performance interventions to students. The Program Director (PD) plays a critical role in implementing City Year Seattle / King County’s school-based service model. The PD spends the majority of the work week in the field, directly supervising 4-6 Program Managers and indirectly overseeing up to 50 AmeriCorps members deployed for a year of service in Seattle Public Schools. The PD is responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day programmatic operations of their team, as well as leading their team to ensure that all goals and service outcomes are met. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Program, the Program Director also serves on the Impact Leadership Team and is responsible for working to promote the long-term sustainability of the site, including building a strong culture, fostering strategic relationships, and supporting our site-wide priorities.
