Position Description:
Hello on behalf of the Undergraduate Research Program (URP)!
URP has an outstanding opportunity for two dynamic, service-oriented, and student-centered individuals to join their team as a temporary Coordinator/Adviser.
The URP coordinator/adviser positions advise students interested in getting involved in or furthering involvement in undergraduate research opportunities; help to plan and facilitate the annual UW Undergraduate Research Symposium; help to facilitate undergraduate research programs and student selection processes; assist with undergraduate research-related courses; manages the URP email inbox and listserv; and help the URP team coordinate other events and resources. The URP coordinator and adviser positions will also support the URP director in the development of the new Early Scholars Program, an equity program designed to support first-year students from underrepresented groups.
