Position Description: 
Sand Point Child Development Center (SPCDC) is a small, independent, non-profit preschool located in Northeast Seattle that has been in operation for over 40 years. Our preschool is open year-round with three classrooms - Toddler, Young Pre-Kindergarten (YPK), and Pre-Kindergarten (PK) - and a huge outdoor natural play area certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Habitat. The school is licensed by the state of WA for 23 children from 18 months to 6 years old. We embrace a community based mindset where teachers, children, and families work closely together to create a warm, play-based environment that promotes the development of our students. Our small center allows for purposeful interactions between teachers and children where creativity and imagination are honored. We strive to create an environment that encourages teachers and children to find new ways to problem solve, grow, and connect with one another. We are looking for a Full Time and Part Time Float Teachers to join our team to provide support across our three classrooms. We seek kind, dependable, creative teachers who are experienced in the classroom and passionate about early childhood growth and development. Responsibilities include acting as a second hand in the classroom, preparing classroom materials, identifying individual needs of the students, and having effective communication with teachers and parents.
