
Here at OSDI (formerly OMRR) we believe it is important to celebrate the achievements of our alumni scholars. Meet Dudney Sylla, a 2012 graduate of the College of Education!
Since graduating from UW COE, Dudney is working as a project manager for Jobs for the Future, a leading non-profit in developing pathways to opportunity for low-income families. In this role he has provided client management support and technical assistance to clients as a member of Early College Design Services supporting school districts in transforming struggling high schools to provide access to college credit for youth while in high school and Building Economic Opportunity, developing webinars and peer learning sessions that support evaluators of community college TAACCCT Grant recipients strengthen evaluation of projects geared toward improving community college education and training for students that can be completed in two years or less.
Dudney was an Education Pioneers fellow during the summer of 2012 and currently serve as a national alumni representative for the Posse Foundation out of Boston, fundraising and supporting the development of the Posse Boston alumni community. In addition, he is excited to work with Out the Mouths of Babes, a platform for supporting youth voices and civic engagement.
