You will also learn about resources, working with your advisor and additional tips for a successful transition to graduate school.

All Graduate New Student Orientation

September 28 - 29, 2020 
Location: Online 

Our new student orientation will help you learn about the College, meet faculty and other new students, and transition smoothly into life as a College of Education graduate student. Please see a brief overview below, we will share a detailed schedule with registrants on September 21. Don't forget to RSVP to help us plan our events appropriately. 

Orientation Overview:

  • Self-Paced Online Orientation - all registrants will have access to our new self-paced online orientation! We’ll cover the nuts and bolts of uw and the coe, share insights about how to be successful, talk about funding, getting engaged, etc. 
  • Question & Answer Sessions - staff and faculty led sessions for all of your lingering questions and concerns. Come chat with us! 
  • Social events, panels, and information sessions hosted by student leaders across the college community! 

New Student Reception

Our new student reception will be postponed until we are able to host programs on campus again. Please be on the lookout for updates!
