Current UW students

1.  Accepting Admission
You will receive an offer of admission from the Early Childhood and Family Studies major in the College of Education via the email address in your cover page in the application.  In that letter, you will be given details as to how to verify your acceptance in the major.

2. New Student Appointment
Set up a time to meet with your adviser on the appointment calendar. She will help you understand how your credits transferred, give you information on how to register, and make sure you are prepared to start your coursework. 

 

Transfer Students not yet Accepted to University of Washington

1. Accepting Admission
You will receive an offer of admission directly from UW’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Included in this packet is an Enrollment Confirmation Form. To notify us of your decision, please fill out this form and mail it back in the enclosed envelope. You'll also find other useful information in this packet, including details on what to do next, including signing up for your Advising & Orientation, where you will meet the adviser for the ECFS major.

2. New Student Appointment
When you sign up for your Advising & Orientation with the University of Washington, your advising appointment with the ECFS major adviser will be made for you as a part of that day.  You have been accepted into the university as an ECFS major and will sign up for your classes at that advising meeting at Advising & Orienation.

 

Online Students

1. Accepting Admission
You will receive an offer of admission directly from Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Included in this packet is an Enrollment Confirmation Form. To notify us of your decision, please fill out this form and mail it back in the enclosed envelope. You'll also find other useful information in this packet, including details on what to do next and specifics on service-learning and technology requirements. 

2. Enrollment Acknowledgement
Once UW receives your Enrollment Confirmation Form, we will send you an Enrollment Acknowledgement to confirm your enrollment at the UW.
