UW College of Education Admitted Student Days 2023

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Washington's College of Education! We encourage you to attend our Admitted Student Days events occurring March 30th and 31st. Admitted students will have the option of attending our hybrid event on Thursday and Friday. We have developed a series of sessions to help you learn more about our programs and our #EduDawg community. Admitted Student Days allows you opportunities to network with fellow admitted students, as well as current students, and faculty. Register by March 27th to ensure you have access to our events.

Admitted Student Days Schedule

Day One - March 30, 2023

10:00-11:15 am: Virtual GSEE Prospective Student Days Student Panel (Registration Required)
11:00am-3:00 pm: Office of Student Services (OSS)/Office of Student Diversity & Inclusion (OSDI) Spring Fling
6:00-7:00 pm: Virtual College of Education Alumni Panel

Day Two - March 31, 2023

12:00-2:00 am: In-Person GSEE Prospective Student Days Reception (Registration Required)
3:00-4:00 pm: Tour of the Home to the College of Education, Miller Hall
5:00-6:00 pm: M.Ed./Ph.D. Ask Me Anything (AMA) Panel

  • Click a thumbnail in the gallery to open the full-size image
  • Right click and select “Save image as…”
  • Select a location on your computer to download the file and hit “Ok”

Customize

  • Open the Zoom desktop client.
  • Click the gear icon (⚙) to access settings
  • Select “Virtual Background” in the left menu
  • Click the plus icon (➕) and select “Add Image”
  • Locate the downloaded file on your computer and click “Ok”
  • Your custom Zoom background will be uploaded and automatically selected
  • Toggle perspective by flipping the image with “Mirror my video”
  • Close settings to complete the process

Admitted graduate students with US addresses will receive an admitted student packet. Post a selfie with the poster or pennant you received in your packet using #EduDawgs2023. Tag us using @UWEducation on Instagram or @UWCollegeofEd on Twitter and you may see your post on our social media! Future #EduDawgs who tag us in their selfie will be entered to win a UW Bookstore gift card.
